i ordered a couple of outdoor things from farmstead outdoors and felt good about the price. nothing super fancy to say, but it was solid value and the quality was better than i expected for what i paid. shipping was normal, and everything arrived in good shape. i’d definitely shop with them again when i need more gear

"Good communication overall"
They did a really good job keeping me updated the whole time, so I wasn’t left guessing what was going on. I do wish things had moved a little faster at one point, but overall the communication was solid and I appreciated knowing where everything stood.

"Heads up: quality can be hit or miss"
Just a heads up for anyone thinking about buying outdoor gear here: my experience was okay, but not great. I picked up a couple of items, and one of them actually felt solid, but the other started showing loose stitching after only a few uses. It’s not the worst stuff for the price, but I expected better. I’d probably check everything carefully before committing.

I had to swap my jacket for a different size it was way easier than I expected. Customer service got back to me quickly and the instructions were simple to follow. The new one arrived sooner than I thought too, which felt like a small win because it actually fit perfectly. No real hassle at all, and I’d definitely order from Farmstead Outdoors again.

"Tons of stuff to choose from"
Farmstead Outdoors had way more gear than I figured they would. I was bouncing between a few sites trying to find outdoor stuff in the right sizes and options, and this was one of the few that didn’t have some pathetic little selection with two random things left.
The site was easy to poke around, and I ended up finding a couple things I hadn’t even thought to search for. Overall, solid selection and not a pain in the ass to use, so yeah, I’d shop there again

"Finally a checkout that didn’t make things harder"
I was expecting the usual hassle where something goes wrong or they force you to create an account just to place an order. But for once, it was actually painless. The cart was easy to understand, the payment page loaded without acting up, and I got through it faster than I thought I would. Kind of rare when a site doesn’t make the customer do extra work for no reason.

"Really good packaging"
I ordered from farmsteadoutdoors.com the packaging was really solid. The box was sturdy, everything inside was wrapped up well, and nothing was sliding around or damaged. It arrived clean too, with no crushed corners or ripped tape. It’s an small thing, but I really appreciate when the company actually takes time to pack stuff properly

"Sizing was a little hit or miss"
Ordered a jacket from Farmstead Outdoors and it mostly fit, but the sleeves were definitely longer than I expected. Hmm. It wasn’t a dealbreaker or anything, and I’m still making it work, but I do wish the size chart was a bit clearer. Close, but not quite perfect.

I used farmsteadoutdoors.com and overall it was a decent experience. The site was easy enough to get around, and I did find what I needed, but I’ll admit I still had to put in a little more effort than I wanted to sort through things.
The pages loaded fine and the menu mostly made sense, which helped. The product info was clear, and checkout wasn’t confusing, so that part was nice. I just wish it felt a bit quicker and less like I had to do all the work myself, but I’d probably use it again.

I was trying to find a few outdoor supplies that seemed to be sold out everywhere else, but Farmstead Outdoors actually had them available. The site made it sorta easy to see what was in stock, which saved me from wasting more time looking around.
Checkout was simple, and my order went through without any surprise backorder issues. Overall, I’m happy with the experience and would shop there again

"Quick help right when I needed it"
I had a question about my order and sent them a message, assuming it would be one of those situations where you wait a day or two and get a generic reply.
But they got back to me the same day and actually answered the question I asked, which stood out because usually when customer service is fast, I kind of expect it to be copy-paste. This felt like a real person read my message.
The order itself turned out totally fine, but the quick response is what I remember most. Based on that, I’d feel good ordering from farmsteadoutdoors.com again

"Warranty Support Met My Standards"
I had an issue with one of the parts after a few months, so I reached out about the warranty. I’m particular about how companies handle stuff like this, they made it simple. They replied quickly, asked me to send a couple photos, and then shipped out the replacement without any hassle. It was a lot easier than I expected, and I’m happy with the way they took care of it.

I accidentally ordered the wrong thing from Farmstead Outdoors and realized it pretty much right after, so I had to cancel it before it got too far along...
Their customer service replied the same day and let me know the refund was already being processed. I figured it would probably take a week, maybe longer, because refunds usually... you know how it goes.
But the money was back in my account in about 2 days. No hassle, no annoying back and forth, just handled quickly. Really appreciated that.

I was a little cautious at first because there are a lot of knockoffs out there, but everything I got was legit and I didn’t have any issues. Just a heads up to others, make sure you’re buying from the right place and checking the details, but my experience was solid.

My order did eventually arrive, but the delivery part was a bit frustrating!! The tracking barely updated, and it showed up later than I was originally expecting, so I was kind of left wondering what was going on.
That said, the item itself was totally fine once it got here, so it wasn’t a terrible experience overall. I might order again, but probably not if I needed something delivered quickly or by a specific date.

"Checkout was simple and easy"
Payment was easy overall. There were plenty of ways to pay, like card, PayPal, and other options, so I didn’t feel stuck or have to go digging around for something that worked. The checkout was smooth too, no weird errors, no confusing steps, no pages freezing, no having to enter the same info over and over. Just picked my payment method, filled in what I needed, and it went through fine.
